Sample library
A packaged archive of 22 assets with real technical metadata, keyframes and tags. Filter it the way a delivery spec would, then open any asset to inspect it.
Visual search
Describe the shot instead of the filename. In this demo, ranking comes from a precomputed index over the packaged samples — no inference runs in your browser. The desktop app adds OpenCLIP embeddings computed from your own keyframes.
Project boards
Selects and production bins that reference assets rather than copying them. This demo board is held in memory and resets when you reload — nothing is stored in your browser.
Studio — a worked example
Studio turns a long clip into a vertical cutdown. This is a completed example from the sample library; running the pipeline needs your own media and your own machine.

A Studio project references library assets — the working folder is symlinked to your originals, so no frame of your archive is copied, moved or rewritten.
Grade — a worked example
The desktop app previews a look live in WebGL over your own frames and exports stills in batch. Here is a before/after on a sample frame; drag the slider.
What the desktop version does
A real WebGL2 pipeline over decoded frames, with the DGTL inspector, batch WebP/JPEG export, and a parity test pinning the interactive preview to the batch renderer — so what you approve is what gets written.
This browser comparison is a CSS filter on a sample frame. It illustrates the workflow; it is not the grading engine.
How ClipVault works
The demo shows the last step. The desktop app does the first two on your own drives.
Step 01
Connect
Point ClipVault at a folder or an external drive. It opens read-only and leaves your structure alone.
Step 02
Index lightly
ffprobe and ExifTool read metadata; FFmpeg writes a small thumbnail per asset and a few keyframes per video. RAW previews come from the embedded JPEG.
Step 03
Search creatively
Exactly what you are doing here — by scene, subject, camera, format, orientation, rating, tag or project.
What this demo is, precisely
It is a static page with a packaged manifest. It cannot read your filesystem, has no upload control and no file picker, starts no scans, stores nothing in your browser, and starts no trial. Reloading resets it.
Get ClipVault Local
ClipVault is in developer preview — free, and not publicly downloadable yet. Apply and we will bring you in as builds become installable.
What changes on the desktop
- Connect your own folders and drives, read-only.
- Real metadata extraction and keyframes across the whole archive.
- OpenCLIP visual search over your own keyframes.
- Saved project boards, Studio cutdowns, and the live Grade.
- Everything local: no upload, no account, no telemetry.
Before you go
Installing ClipVault does not start the 30-day trial. Under the planned 1.0 licensing model, the trial begins only when you choose to start it, after connecting your first real library — and when it ends, your indexed work stays browsable.
